“ A local restaurant with delicious food! Home made fries of potatoes of Madeira, fresh vegetables, good meat and a sauce of Madeira wine. The owner is very kind. The view is stunning (from the terrace you see a village and the sea) and the housecat loves being pet but leaves you alone if you don't like the company. Worth a visit!! ”

They offer only two “prato do dia” and ours today were sensational - fresh grilled dorado (white fish) and bife a regional (tender steak with a fried egg on top.) The owner is friendly and personable, despite being very busy planning for an upcoming festa in Santana. Also - please try the amazing couvert (starter dish) of cheese and pimenta with honey. It was a surprisingly delicious combo. ”
